Hey Indie Developers! 👋

Welcome to the newsletter of Indie Dev Tools!

As an indie developer/hacker, having a good landing page is important for your product; this is what your visitor sees; this is what triggers sales.

So, today, we’re going to talk about it, and I’ll give you 2 tools to help you with your landing page!

Allons-y!

Why a Good Landing Page is Important

As indie hackers/developers, having a compelling landing page is crucial for success.

It’s our first chance to make a strong impression, clearly convey our product's value, and capture visitor interest quickly.

An optimized landing page can significantly boost conversion rates by guiding visitors to take desired actions like signing up or making a purchase.

How?

Well it builds trust and credibility, making our product appear professional and reliable.

How to Have the Perfect Landing Page

Now that we agree on this, how can you have the perfect landing page?

There are several ways to create a landing page:

  • a) By creating it yourself, after analyzing your competitors

  • b) By using a template

  • c) By using AI

a) To create the page from scratch, yourself, a lot of experience is necessary, and a lot of analysis. I don’t recommend using this technique for your 2-3 first products.

b) Using a template is a good idea, especially at the beginning. Googling ‘landing page template’ + some keywords should be enough to find something interesting. Don’t hesitate to pay $30-40, you’ll save a lot of time in the end.

c) Creating a landing page using AI? Yes, it’s possible!

And this is what does the first tool we’re going to talk about today.

Make Landing is a service that uses AI to generate the perfect landing page for your product; check it out!

The second tool will help you improve what you’ve already created, wether by hand or with AI.

With Get Roasted Now, you’ll have your landing page roasted by an expert. The best way to receive relevant advices, and to improve your landing page!

Article of the Week

The article of the week is a personal story. I’m explaining how I lost half of the visitors (and revenue) of my website because of a dumb mistake, and how you can avoid it.

That’s it for today’s newsletter.
