It’s been a few weeks since I launched the Awesome Indie Dev Tools GitHub repository, and then the directory based on the same sources: indiedev.tools.

Both projects have grown since, and today I’d like to introduce you three interesting recently added tools, and a new feature added to the directory website.

Indie Dev Tools: the Blog

This new feature, is a blog.

Blogs are a good idea for directories. It improves SEO (although it needs some time for it), and brings good value to the directory.

For example, the first article I wrote is titled The Best SEO Tools for Developers. Check it out, it might be interesting for you!

One article a week will be published, listing and comparing products useful for indie developers. They will be shared in this newsletter!

The tools of the week

This week, I want to feature 3 tools that had recently been added to the directory:

• SiteForge, an AI web page wireframe generator, site planner and branded content generator

• backl.io, a tool to kickstart and grow your SEO by getting more backlinks with a backlink builder

• SearchSocket, A free AI-powered tool that provides real-time SEO suggestions to improve content's alignment with Google's guidelines.

More tools have been added lately (especially a few boilerplates), check out the website to see them!

What’s next

I’ll soon release new features on Indie Dev Tools, allowing you to promote your tool easily.

In the meanwhile, don’t hesitate to share the directory and add your own tools!
