Promote Your Product on Directories (and Reddit!)

Today, we're talking about directories and Reddit

Hey Indie Developers! 👋

Welcome to the newsletter of Indie Dev Tools!

There are a lot of ways to promote your SaaS or online product. SEO, cold emailing, ads, etc.

One of them is adding your product on directories (like Indie Dev Tools ðŸ˜‡) and social networks such as Reddit (which is, in a way, a directory).

This is what we’re going to talk about today: Reddit and directories.

Our subreddit

Reddit is a great way to promote your products. It counts millions of active daily users, and it ranks very well on Google.

Subtly talking about your project on Reddit will for sure bring you visitors, and maybe users.

This is why we created a dedicated subreddit for Indie Dev Tools.

Every product you add on the Indie Dev Tools directory will be, once validated, automatically posted on the subreddit. Great way to reach more people.

The subreddit is very new, don’t hesitate to join it so it grows, gain in popularity, and make the tools on it more visible!

A List of Directories

That being said, there are a lot of directories on the web.

On Indie Dev Tools, we’re already listing a few ones, some are even listing of directories.

Check it out, here!

That’s it for today’s newsletter.

Have a great week building your own tool!
